Four levels of time management Self discipline and assertiveness Did you ‘achieve’ and ‘enjoy’ today? Poem: My hands were busy through the day New year’s resolutions that work Ideas of beating procrastination Interruptions - less time or later Beating procrastination at Christmas |
Are interruptions a problem? then why not try putting up a sign, not saying just "Please don't disturb" (most of the time that won't work) but putting WHY you don't want to be disturbed and when you'll be free. For example, "Please do not disturb until 11.00, I'm writing my monthly report". This will give them the information they need in order to decide whether to interrupt you - can they wait till 11? Is their problem more important than your monthly report?..And if people still come in you can say "Didn't you see my sign?" and "Can it wait until 11.00 when I'm free?" that's it - just a short one today visit www.free-management-tips.co.uk and have tips like this one sent to you free by email once a month - they never repeat!
